"How to Draw Different Water Animals – Easy Steps for Kids!"

Drawing water animals can be so much fun! These creatures live in oceans, rivers, and lakes, and they come in many shapes and sizes. You don’t need to be a perfect artist to draw them—just follow these simple steps and enjoy

  1. Fish
Start with an oval shape for the body. Draw a triangle at the back for the tail. Add two small fins on the top and bottom, and one near the head. Draw a small circle for the eye and a curved line for the mouth. Add some lines on the tail and fins to give them texture.

  2. Octopus
Draw a round circle for the head. From the bottom, draw eight long curvy arms. Make sure each arm has little circles at the bottom to show the suction cups. Add two big eyes and a smiley face.

  3. Whale
Begin with a long oval shape, but make the front round and the back pointy. Draw a tail like a wide ‘W’ at the back. Add a small fin on top and one below. Don’t forget to draw a water splash coming out from the top of its head!

  4. Starfish
Draw a big star with five arms. Make the edges rounded. Inside the star, draw tiny circles or dots to make it look bumpy. Add a happy face in the middle for a cute look.

  5. Jellyfish
Make a big dome shape for the top of the jellyfish. From the bottom, draw lots of wiggly lines for tentacles. Add eyes and a smile to make it friendly. You can also decorate it with dots or lines on the top part.

  6. Crab
Start with a wide oval for the body. Add two big claws at the front using circles and lines. Then, draw four legs on each side. Don’t forget to draw eyes on top with little stalks and a big smile.
